Lana D. Scroggins, PhD is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Accounting with more than 25 years of experience in tax, accounting, and financial management. She brings a strong foundation in financial oversight, compliance, and operational efficiency, along with a detail-oriented and solutions-driven approach to decision making.

Dr. Scroggins has extensive experience analyzing financial performance, improving processes, and ensuring accountability across complex operations. Her background equips her to provide thoughtful guidance on budgeting, internal controls, and strategic financial planning.

In addition to her professional expertise, she is deeply committed to education, mentorship, and community engagement. Dr. Scroggins  loves to teach and interacting with students. She's passionate about supporting initiatives that expand opportunities, strengthen organizations, and create a meaningful impact.
